Life has become stressful because the constant push to maintain “how it’s done” feels unsustainable, and certainly unfulfilling.

You begin to wonder, what happened? And how can I feel better? This is how so many us have found ourselves on the spiritual path. It’s sometimes called a midlife crisis, but whatever the title, the search to feel GOOD again is the catalyst.

And here’s the thing: Feeling good is it! Feeling joy and pleasure and fun is why we are here! You knew this when you were very small. You accomplished things that would crush adults- um, learning how to use your hands and how to walk down stairs- you were a freaking rockstar! Most adults avoid challenge at all cost. But young you saw it all as a great adventure, because there was the potential of some serious fun on the other side.

Adopting this mindset again is the key. And can be paralyzingly horrifying. Leave this predictable, safe cage you built for yourself? Abandon the ideals and culture of the people around you? Ostracize yourself, all for the possibility this fun-business works out?
