It’s rather unbelievable that every snowflake is unique, every zebra has it’s own pattern, and every fingerprint belongs to only one person. Most things that look identical, actually aren’t. They are similar, certainly to the untrained eye, but are in fact very individual.

Why? Safety, of course. If we fall into line, if we don’t make mistakes, if we don’t upset anyone with our weird out-of-the-box quirks, we remain safe.

This is taught to us from the very beginning of our lives, hardwired into our subconscious by our culture and families. And while the modern day has begun calling out this traditional mindset as utterly unattainable, and unfair, fully accepting and living our unique truth is still a very challenging thing for even the most enlightened among us.
