Carnelian: stoke your inner flame

Carnelian is the quintessential sacral chakra stone. With it’s bright fiery orange, it resonates with all things passionate, creative, sexy, pleasurable, fun and exciting. The sacral chakra is, in a word, desire, and Carnelian ignites this flame within.

But the mind is missing the divine whispers of Universal Flow, the embodied feeling-sense of purpose. The Soul within us knows we are here for much more than to just “make it out safely.” Very often we cannot know or predict or accurately plan with our brains. Luckily, this is what desire is all about; it is what lights the way, the breadcrumbs to follow on an unknown path. Only by tapping into our guidance within can we feel our way through to an unexpected, yet better than we could have ever planned, amazingly fulfilling life.

This is the power of a healthy, balanced and thriving sacral chakra. Within this center swirl the energies that give us purpose lit by desire. Desire is what leads, points us in the direction we need to go and calls us back when we’ve strayed from our path.

As we each have a beautifully unique purpose and path to follow in this life, our unique desires are our guidance systems. We feel a pull toward something and a thrill of pleasure when we reach it. We are rewarded with beautiful confirmation that we are in the right place and to keep going in this direction.
